A Novel Algorithm for Resource Allocation for Heterogeneous Traffic

چکیده
To support different QoS requirements of heterogeneous and bursty traffic, Weighted Minmax algorithm (WMinmax) is proposed in this paper to efficiently and dynamically allocate network resources. In WMinmax, heterogeneous and regulated traffic are grouped into several classes according to their negotiated QoS parameters. For different classes, resources are allocated in proportion to their corresponding weights.
